Forever grateful for excellent child care…

Going from a private unlicensed daycare of 3 kids, to a (larger, licensed) facility was nerve wracking, but in the end, we got exactly what we’d hoped for out of it; socialization for our son prior to starting school, comfortable, friendly and educational environment with a good amount of outdoor play. I felt comfortable from day one, and loved the […] staff, the food provided, the activities/crafts and especially the graduation ceremony! Our son blossomed there. His confidence and adaptability grew. And it was all because of what you all provided.

Children’s Services Reports

The Children’s Services Department supports children, families and services providers in providing and accessing quality early learning and child care services in the District of Nipissing.  We also help support community partners with service planning by providing relevant data and reports such as the Early Development Instrument (EDI) and the Kindergarten Parent Survey (KPS).  Click on the button below to view the reports prepared by the Children’s Services Department.

Parent Resources

Parents and caregivers are pivotal in helping their children reach their fullest potential.  Working collaboratively with community partners and service providers, we strive to ensure that families are informed about and connected to other community services they may require.  Click on the button below to visit our parent resources page, where you will find a variety of links to resources and downloads regarding the early years and licensed child care system.
